The word Matte: Matte is the traditional finish for printed papers. It gives the paper a flat appearance , so it’s easier to read. The matte finish isn’t the most durable but it’s reliable when printing on thick stock. The matte finish does not contain a protective coating which means that paper signs do not show wear as readily. If the printout of a matte photo is too bright, it could show smudges and streaks in your text.

Signs made of paper from Environprint: Environprint paper signs are a specific type of custom printed sign printing. Signs can be printed both sides and with both sides being sewn together. They provide the most protection from abrasion and fade since they are woven.

Option to fax: When printing from a fax you must select the Fax option. Some printers are not able to automatically detect the feature, so be sure to check yours. However, if this is your only choice using Fax, it will save you money on postage. The cost of running the printer is less because it can print directly from the computer.

o Custom size paper Some printers automatically alter the size of the paper depending on the size you have specified. Some do not; so check your printer properties. However, if you change the size of your paper during printing, some printers will not do the operation correctly. To fix this issue, simply restart the printer after changing the paper size. If you’re unable to access the printer properties or printer settings, contact the manufacturer.

o Pasting and copying This makes it easier to retrieve later. To paste, simply click on the copy button and select paste from the pop-up menu. If you modify the size of your custom paper on your computer’s screen make sure you click OK. The changes will not be saved if you do not click OK.

Updates to drivers: Sometimes, your equipment or software may not work with most recent operating systems. This is particularly the case if you are using multiple scanners or printers. For this reason, it’s recommended to receive driver updates on a regular basis. To update your printer drivers visit the manufacturer’s support page and follow the onscreen instructions. Be aware that certain OSs require driver updates to be enabled to print custom paper sizes. To identify the drivers required by your OS you can use the ndurance tool in Microsoft Windows.
